In the OS-150 Rotary Type Roasting Oven, the product is roasted inside a rotating drum. The heat required for roasting is generated by a high-efficiency burner located inside the roasting chamber. This heat is evenly distributed over the drum’s surface, ensuring perfect roasting for various nuts such as white chickpeas, sunflower seeds, yellow chickpeas, in-shell peanuts, salted chickpeas, pumpkin seeds, crunchy chickpeas, toffee peanuts, toffee chickpeas, pistachios, and hazelnuts. The roasting process is easily controlled via an electric control panel, allowing the operator to adjust roasting time and drum rotation speed. Roasted nuts are discharged using a perforated inner basket placed at the drum’s centre. The machine comes with two baskets – one perforated and one solid. The drum-type roasting system is made entirely of AISI 304 stainless steel. An optional automatic feeding hopper and elevator system can be added to facilitate product transfer. The OS-150 features a single-stage, high-performance burner. Operators can roast products with salt to achieve more homogeneous roasting results without increasing fuel consumption. This process also prevents nuts from being scattered by centrifugal forces and enables easier product discharge through the perforated basket.
